A chance up-close drum kit experience and patient parents led to a life time of exploring drums and percussion. Afro-Cuban congas, bongos and batá drums have been a focus with all sorts of frame drums, djembes, Bodhráns and tambourines picked up and studied along the way... I love studying the techniques and traditions of hand drums!
